A man was standing on an eastern hill. Three pilgrims saw him from a distance and started talking about him.

The first said: “He probably lost his favourite animal.”
The second said: “No, he is rather looking for a friend.”
The third said: “He climbed the hill to breathe some fresh air.”
The pilgrims could not agree and quarrelled until they climbed up the hill. When they made it all the way up, one of them asked the man:
“Friend, did you lose your favourite animal?”

“No, sir, I didn’t.”
The second pilgrim asked: “Did you lose a friend?”
“No, sir, I didn’t.”
The third pilgrim asked: “Did you come here to breathe some fresh air?”
“No, sir.”

“So, what are you doing here?!”
“I’m just standing here” , answered the man.
